Script for the Radio Advert

In my previous blog, I was told to download Adobe Audition but unfortunately, I was not able to download this software but due to the change in the assignment, I could record individual parts of my advert using my smartphone which was much easier for me.
I have ensured the script does not overfill with information as it could come across as forceful, therefore it was important for the script to contain the key details and made sure the listeners know where to get more information from.
Below is the script I have written for the advert.

Things my Space Tourism to the Moon will include

For Assignment 2 - A trip to the moon I was asked by my teacher to download Adobe Audition and write down 7 bullet points about what my space tourism to the moon will include.

The 7 things that will be included on the moon trip are:
  • A 5- Star Hotel
  • A Night Cafe
  • Sightseeing
  • Flying roller coaster
  • Spacewalk
  • Explore the history of the moon
  • Relaxation Spa
I will try to use most of these activities from the list above to encourage tourism to the moon but these will be used in a way that persuades people to visit the moon and have an amazing experience.

Assignment 2: Adobe Audition Audio Test

In this session, I was given an introduction to Assignment 2 called 'a trip to the moon'. For this assignment I have been asked to create a 30-40 seconds long radio advert that promotes tourism to the Moon. The advert is authorized by the British space company called 'Lunar-X'.

Today I researched the different online sounds from Bensound that I could use for assignment 2. For this advert I will be including a slogan for 'Lunar-X', two online music sound effects and two recorded sound effects.
I will be updating the blog regularly on the work I have been doing for this assignment.

I also learned how to use Adobe Audition to practice editing sound recordings by using existing sound files.
Below is a screenshot of a sound piece I created by downloading two mp3 music files from Bensound (2012). I imported the downloaded music using the 'media browser', this will appear in the 'files' menu in the top-left window. I used the 'time selection tool' to select a section of the song. Then chose edit and copy to New, this transformed the selected part of the music into an individual sound file in the files menu.

Session 6: Assignment Evaluation

Below I have created two alternative ticket designs for this assignment using Adobe Photoshop.

For the first Ticket design, I used a purple linear gradient tool as this will create a new dimension to the design. The use of a gradient can make the design feel modern and keep the audience engaged.

For the second Ticket design, I used a dark red color to make the ticket stand out. I decided to fill the information after the design is complete so that I could use the suitable font color to match the ticket design.

For both of the tickets, I have included important information such as ticket number, date of the event, time, location, seat number, and price. I used the horizontal type tool throughout these ticket designs to make the font clear and visible for the audience. I have used the same font and color for the title of the musical 'rewrite the stars' as I wanted to keep some of the features consistent in both the tickets.

Throughout Media Design for Event management module I have learned many skills related to Photoshop as the tools I used helped to unleash my creativity and I was able to expand my knowledge of editing skills.
